Superbowl Financial Facts

Being that I was raised in New England, it is no suprise that I am a fan of the New England Patriots.
I love it when we make it to the superbowl :]
In honor of the superbowl today I thought I would share a few financial facts about it with you:



1.) One superbowl commercial running 30 seconds costs 3 million dollars.
And that does not include what it takes to actually make the commercial.

2.) Each superbowl rings costs approximately $5,000 dollars.
When you multiply that by 150 players, you are looking at roughly $750,000 in just rings alone.

3.)One ticket to the superbowl can cost you anywhere from $2,000 to $23,000 dollars each.
In the 1970's you could easilt get one for $20.00
In 1995 one could be purchase for just $300
In 2008 one could be purchased for $700!

4.)For decent parking at the Superbowl, you could easily be paying $200.

I love football, and had heard that about the commercials, but hadn't heard about the other facts. Interesting and expensive! I wont be going to a game any time soon

wow $200 parking? that is nuts. I was rooting for the Pats also, too bad they didn't pull through.
